News networks Fox vs CNN

Ok so now I want to talk about news stations aka the mainstream media and Ill use with the most popular. First lets start with Fox News.I think most people know now that Fox is mainly news with a conservative spin, now dont get me wrong theres nothing worng with that but i find that Hannity is a douche-bag and so is Beck. And while i don't like either of them or Fox's considerable Obama bashing, I keep finding myself watching it. Why you might ask? Well let me say that assholes aside Fox's news reporting is actually fairly good. The fact is Fox doesn't end each of its segments( gaps between commericals) with news-hangers, that is, announcing the next headline right before the commercial acting like they aren't even going to a break like what the CNN national channel does. As for CNN, I'd be lying if I said they didnt have a slant on the news like Fox, but CNN uses too much flashy technology and always acts like they are going to run out of time.( its a 24 hour channel hello?)Anyways I'd say that News channels come down to personal preference but for me I prefer CNN.

First topic: Afghanistan

Hey Xraptor here, I thought foe my first topic I'd talk about something thats been on the minds of the average American (besides healthcare). The way I see it there are several ways to handle the conflict, heres a few off the top of my mind.

1. Send more troops to Afghanistan to reinforce areas of heavy resistance and maintain the war as long as needed to establish an independant country with a strong government.

2.Pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq and stop interfering with the middle east, and then severly strenghen American borders, national guard, coast guard, and intelligence on terrorist matters.Then work with Mexico and Canada to protect all American interests.
